Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
NetDefendy applies rules on your device. Traffic is not routed to a remote NetDefendy server, and personal data is never sold.
Data processed
- Installed app names and package identifiers are used to display the app list and firewall rules.
- If Usage Access is granted, screen time, last usage and network consumption are analyzed on the device.
- The IP address, port, protocol and visible DNS domain of blocked connections are stored only in the local database on your device.
- Rules and settings are stored in the app's local storage.
Data sharing
NetDefendy does not sell personal data. The app does not send blocked traffic to the developer or to a third-party traffic server.
Retention and deletion
Connection history can be deleted from the app's Settings. Clearing NetDefendy's data in Android settings removes local records and rules. A rule backup file is created only when the user explicitly exports one.
Android permissions
- VPN: To enforce per-app Wi-Fi and mobile data rules.
- Usage Access: For screen-time and data analysis.
- Notifications: For protection status and new-app alerts.
- Query installed apps: To display apps that can be managed by the firewall.
